Welcome to the Blackburn North Explorer Pages.

Blackburn North Explorer Unit meet every Thursday evening at their base in Wilpshire. The Unit have a very active programme of activities. Unit members have attended the World Jamboree in Thailand, two have completed their Explorer Belt in New Zealand and the Unit travelled to Switzerland in 2004. The Unit is linked to all the Scout Troops to the North of the town. If you live in the Langho, Wilpshire, Brownhill or Revidge areas of the town then the North Unit is for you. You don't have to have been a Scout to join Explorers, many of our members join us to take part in our activities and complete their DofE ... if you are 14 - 18 then contact one of the Leaders for more details.
