Balanced Programmes 

Unit programmes contains ideas on how to plan programmes and practical activities for each of the Zones. A Balanced Programme lies at the heart of the Explorer Scout programme.

Programme Zones

There are eight Programme Zones, each with its own aims for the Explorer Scouts taking part in activities in that Zone. The Programme Zones for Explorer Scouts are:

Methods of the Explorer Scout Section

As part of the Balanced Programme across the Programme Zones, the Unit should experience a variety of Methods through the programme. This will make meetings and activities more interesting and appeal to more Members. Unit programmes gives suggested activities in each Programme Zone.
